New "Must Have" Items

While we are waiting on our little princess to arrive (which could be any day now through 3/16), we have been very busy making new soaps as well as brainstorming ideas for new items like facial sprays, oil infusions, hair care products, and much more!
As always, we try all of our products before they are sold to the public. We always want to ensure we are providing the best quality products possible. So far, we have introduced a number of new products including (but not limited to)
Facial sprays, oil infusions for your skincare needs, hair masks, soaps, tattoo salves, lanolin balms, and bath bombs.
Our new Calm & Comfort Facial Spray is made fresh to order with only natural ingredients such as Chamomile and Lavender to help soothe and refresh dry, irritated skin.
Although it's main use is for your face, you can really use it for the rest of your body - feet, arms, legs, hands, chest, back. We also make a facial toner in a spray that features red clover which is well known for healing acne. Find it in our store here.
It contains no preservatives as well, and no animal byproducts.

Another of our new awesome products is part of our hair care line. We now make hair masks which feature unrefined Shea butter, organic Coconut oil, and Sunflower oil that we infused with Dulse and Wakame seaweeds.
We offer an unscented version as well as Tea Tree version.
Use these luxurious hair masks as a treatment before shampooing for mildly damaged and dry hair, or use as an overnight hair treatment for extremely dry and damaged hair.
These work best for thick or curly hair. We are currently working on making a hair mask for thinner hair types which we will keep everyone updated on our Facebook page as well as our blog posts.

Our most popular handmade soap is our Charcoal bar soap that we now feature in Lavender & Tea Tree.
These bars are packed with activated charcoal which draws out dirt and oil like a magnet. While many commercially made charcoal soaps and cleansers are drying to skin, our handmade charcoal soaps are not drying due to the natural oils and sheep's milk we use to make them.
We currently make three kinds of charcoal soaps - unscented, Lavender & Tea Tree, and Original (Basil, Grapefruit, Lavender, and Cedarwood blend).
We make all of our charcoal soaps using skin nourishing oils and butters such as unrefined Shea Butter, Rice Bran oil, Coconut oil, and Grape Seed oil.
Despite what many online sources say about Coconut oil clogging pores, in soap, Coconut oil is a very cleansing oil and rinses cleanly. In fact, if a soap contains a higher amount of Coconut oil than other oils, the soap may dry out skin instead of moisturize. For that reason, like many of our soaps that contain Coconut oil, we create a more balanced bar by adding moisture rich Shea butter and gentle Rice Bran oil.

Another of our newest products is our Lavender Shaving Cream & Cream Soap.
What is cream soap?
Cream soap is between a liquid and a solid soap, has a firm, creamy texture, and makes lots of luxurious lather.
How do you use cream soap?
As a shaving cream: Lightly wet and apply a quarter-sized amount to damp skin and create a creamy lather. Shave as normal. Rinse clean.
As a soap: Lightly wet and apply a quarter-sized amount while in the shower. You can use with a sponge or cloth, or use alone. Rinse clean.
As a bubble bath: Scoop a tablespoon-sized amount and hold under the bath tap while the water is running to create a soothing bubble bath. Soak for as long as you'd like.

Looking for a little natural relaxation and detox? We now make detox bath bombs.
Our new Of the Sea Detox Bath Bombs are made fresh to order using Siberian clay, French Red clay, Colloidal Oatmeal, Black Hawaiian salt, Seaweed, Lemongrass and Orange Valencia essential oils, Shea butter, and Coconut oil.
While the different clays, salts, and essential oils help with pulling harmful toxins and impurities we're exposed to on a daily basis, Colloidal Oatmeal not only helps soften skin, but it acts as an anti-inflammatory while Shea and Coconut add rich moisture for an all around amazing bathing experience.

We will be accepting custom orders again next month (April). We will be sure to post updates on the exact date that we will resume accepting custom orders. If you do not mind waiting until April, we can add your custom order to our list. For more information, please contact us.
If you're looking to purchase our products in person, you can also find a small selection of our handmade products in An Artisan's Emporium which is located in the Hall's Way shopping center conveniently located in the historic district in uptown Roxboro, NC.
As always, we love to hear feedback from our customers! Leave a review right on the bottom our homepage or on our Facebook page.
